* 1.I meet the basic requirement for Wildlife Biologist because:
  1. I have a bachelor`s degree in wildlife biology or a related field that included 9 semester hours in mammology, ornithology, animal ecology, wildlife management or wildlife research courses AND 12 semester hours in zoology in such subjects as vertebrate/invertebrate zoology, comparative anatomy, physiology, genetics, AND 9 semester hours in botany or the related plant sciences. I will provide a copy of my college transcript.
  2. I have a combination of education and experience equivalent to a major in biological science (at least 30 semester hours) with 9 semester hours in wildlife subjects, 12 semester hours in zoology and 9 semester hours in botany as described above, PLUS appropriate experience or additional education. I will provide a copy of my college transcript.
  3. I do not have the education or specialized experience (or combination) described above.


* 2.I qualify for the GS 12 level because
  1. In addition to the basic requirements I have one year of wildlife biologist experience equivalent to GS-11 in the Federal service. Examples of work: analysis of wildlife resource conditions; formulate or recommend policies and procedures; study wildlife populations, make recommendations about continued existence; report on status as candidates for listing as endangered or threatened species; develop recovery plans; develop annual plan of work for assigned area of wildlife program or project.
  2. I do not have the specialized experience described above
