  1. I have experience in operating, cleaning, lubricating, and performing maintenance on engine room machinery and auxiliaries. I have assisted in the care of pumps by repacking, grinding and resetting valves, packing and adjusting glands and reassembling pumps.
  2. I have assisted in routine maintenance and repair in the engine room, steering engine room, and other engine spaces; oiled and tended auxiliaries, ice machines, and pumps.
  3. I have cleaned condensers, valves and boilers; cleared clogged drains; and dismantled equipment in connection with cleaning bilge strainers, grease extractors, etc.
  4. I have no experience performing these tasks.
