* 1.You must meet the minimum basic education and/or experience requirements for professional engineer positions in the Federal government. Select the response that best describes your education and/or experience.

Combination of relevant professional engineering education and experience as evidenced by having successfully passed the Engineering-in-Training (EIT) examination, or the written test required for professional registration as administered by the Board of Engineering Examiners in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico.
  5. Combination of relevant professional engineering education and experience as evidenced by having successfully completed 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences and in engineering that included the specified courses as listed above.
  6. Combination of relevant professional engineering education and experience as evidenced by having successfully completed a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in engineering technology or in an appropriate professional field (e.g., physics, chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, or geology), PLUS at least one year of professional engineering experience acquired under professional engineering supervision and guidance.
  7. I do not meet any of the education and/or combination of education and experience under any of the choices above.


* 2.GS-15 You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade in the federal service which has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
