Specialized experience is defined as experience serving as an impartial intermediary, confidential consultant and/or expert evaluator responsible for resolving conflict, mediating disagreements or personal disputes, and solving problems to promote a fair, open, and productive work environment. Other examples include: serving as an ombudsman for an organization; designing and implementing integrated conflict management systems; working with individuals and groups to resolve conflict, mediate disputes, and ensure fair processes; serving as a neutral, third party intermediary addressing organizational and workplace issues; collaborating with senior management to resolve sensitive workplace conflicts; and developing solutions to a variety of complex organizational issues including those related to human capital programs, processes and procedures.
