  3. I have at least 4 years of experience in accounting, or an equivalent combination of accounting experience, college level education, and training. I am also a Certified Public Accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor, which was obtained through a written examination.
  4. I have at least 4 years of experience in accounting, or a combination of accounting experience, college level education, and training and have completed the requirements for a degree that included substantial work in accounting (15 semester hours business law/finance not included) plus I've worked at the full performance level in accounting/auditing. Note: To determine qualifications under this option a panel of at least 2 accountants will review your resume.
  5. I do not meet any of above the education or combination of education and experience statements.


As a basic requirement, applicants for this Senior Executive Service (SES) position MUST demonstrate progressively responsible leadership experience that is indicative of senior executive level managerial capability and directly related to the skills and abilities outlined under Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and Mandatory Technical Qualifications. You must clearly show that you possess the experience, knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties of an executive. FAILURE TO ADDRESS BOTH ECQs and MTQs WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATIONFOR THIS POSITION. Exception: Career SES members and Candidate Development Program graduates may address only the MTQs. I understand that unless I am a Career Senior Executive Service (SES) member or a SES Candidate Development Program graduate that I must address BOTH the Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) AND Mandatory Technical Qualifications (MTQs) and that failure to address BOTH will result in my disqualification for this position. Candidates who have successfully completed an Office of Personnel Management approved SES Career Development Program must submit a copy of their ECQ certification.
