Knowledge was gained through 1) AT LEAST 1 year of contracting work experience; 2) AT LEAST 24 college or graduate level semester hours among these disciplines: accounting, law, business, finance, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods and organization and management 3) a Federal Acquisition Institute certification, FAC-C Level I.

  2. Evaluated and found optimal solutions to complex acquisition issues/problems as a Contracting Officer of Contract Specialist. For example, determined the applicability of complex statutes or regulations related to contract administration (e.g. protest, debriefing, disputes, source selection, etc.).
  3. Evaluated and resolved routine acquisition issues/problems related to requirements development, solicitation, negotiation, award, and contract administration.
