* 1.Knowledge of Domestic and Foreign Copyright Laws and International Copyright Treaties**: Have knowledge of the theories, concepts, processes, techniques, principles, and/or practices of domestic and international copyright laws and treaties. This includes knowledge of the history, trends, and current status of copyright issues and interrelationships of copyright law with other intellectual property laws.
  1. Recognized as a professional resource in copyright law. For example, on multiple occasions served as a guest speaker at copyright seminars; published one or more articles on copyright law; and/or chaired a bar association committee on copyright; or equivalent experience.
  2. Recognized as an expert in copyright law with knowledge of related complex issues and programs. For example, published multiple scholarly articles on copyright law; taught one or more courses on copyright law; participated as a lead expert role in negotiations related to copyright; and/or authored several appellate and/or district court briefs concerning copyright issues; or equivalent experience.
  3. Have extensive experience in copyright law. For example, several years of practice handling copyright matters; drafted court briefs involving copyright issues; or related experience.

  1. Worked on multiple projects demonstrating substantial experience researching issues and problems concerning copyright law. For example, completed research for several published works, including AT LEAST THREE of the above.
  2. Conducted in-depth legal research into issues of copyright law including ONE of the above.
  3. Experience conducting legal research on several different issues related to copyright law, including AT LEAST TWO of the above.
