A degree that includes at least 15 semester hrs (23 qrtr hrs) in statistics (or in math and statistics, provided at least 6 semester hrs (9qtr hrs) were in statistics), and at least 9 additional semester hrs (14qrtr hrs)in the following: physical/biological sciences, medicine, education, or engineering; or social sciences including history, economics, social welfare, geography, international relations, social or cultural anthropology, political science, public admin, psychology, etc.
  2. A combination of education and experience--courses as shown in above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
